Dan began his real estate career in Eugene in 1973. By 1980,
he was specializing in commercial and investment real estate. With partner Jack Watson, Dan formed Western Properties in January
of 1990.
As a consistent Sales Leader in the Eugene-Springfield area, Dan has been recognized by the Commercial Investment Division of Lane County for having the highest sales volume in 1988, 1989, 1990, 1993, and 1994.
Real Estate Highlights
- Exclusive leasing agent for Tyinn Industrial park, a 100,000 square foot complex, completed 100% lease-up in 1996. Participated in the planning of the park with Ken Shiflet, the developer. Sold site to developer and completed lease-up in 1999.
- Exclusive leasing agent for Tyinn Business Park, a 40,000 square foot complex. Completed lease-up in 1999. Sold site to developer.
- Exclusive leasing agent for Airport Business Park, a 36,000 square foot complex. Completed lease-up in 2003. Sold site to developer.
- Completed several intensive educational seminars sponsored by the Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute and CCIM, a national commercial Realtors' association.
- Active investor in self storage facilities, apartment complexes and commercial properties.
A native of the Eugene area, Dan is a graduate of Southern Oregon University. Personal interests include golfing, cycling and skiing. Dan has served as president of the Eugene Metro Rotary and is a current member of the Eugene Rotary club. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries, and from 1998-1999 he served as President of the Relief Nursery.

As a broker with Western Properties, Bill specializes in owner/user and investment sales, as well as, landlord and tenant representation in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. He has experience representing local, regional and national clients.
Prior to joining Western Properties, Bill spent 6 years as a Senior Advisor at Grubb & Ellis Company in Sacramento. While at Grubb & Ellis, Bill was a top 10 producer and was responsible for the leasing and sale of over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial properties with total consideration in excess of $285,000,000.
